- Our Company History
- Since 1995, owner David Haagen has been designing and installing landscape lighting and irrigation systems under Haagen's H2O Designs, Inc. Due to customer demand for landscape lighting service, he focused attention on improving outdoor lighting designs, installation and service, to become the premiere landscape lighting contractor in the Northwest. In 2016, the company changed its name to Designed Illumination, Inc. David Haagen is an experienced landscape lighting designer operating as an electrical contractor with a (06) limited energy electrical certification.

- With over 20 years of experience, our designs and the way we conduct business create loyal customers. We insist on delivering quality products and professional installations. Upon completion we will provide a scaled as-built draft of your new lighting system, as well as ongoing maintenance. Landscape lighting is an investment; we have installed outdoor lighting systems ranging from $5K to $50K with the average residential lighting system in the $9K to $12K range.
